This is the new website for the Notes for a People’s Atlas (NPA) project which started in Chicago in 2005 and has expanded to cities across the US, Europe and Latin America.

In the coming months we will be completing our cataloging of the 20 NPA initiatives and releasing a catalog/booklet (published by AREA Chicago). This site will serve as a repository for that content as well as ongoing writing and blogging about the intersection of art, activism, mapping and geography.
